Dimension Lumber and Boards

(Lumber for further Remanufacture, Decking, Trim Boards, or other applications)

We stock and distribute a full selection of both dimension and board lumber sizes. This stock is usually purchased, by our customers, for both further use in remanufacture or for end use applications suck as decking, fascia board etc; This material is available either green or kiln dried and can be supplied in rough and surfaced sizes. 

Select Tight Knot

Select Tight Knot (STK) is our highest volume seller. Our STK is graded in rough form for STK 100% on one face and 75% on the second face. Knots are sound and tight. Other characteristics are limited so that they do not detract from the end use intended.

D Clear

C & Better Clear is high quality lumber used when appearance is important. May be used for interior panelling or exterior siding and/or trim. It may also be used for cabinetry, windows, doors or similar applications. D Clear permits more numerous natural characteristics and is used where utility is more important than appearance.

A Clear pieces are essentially completely clear. Some may have minor imperfections that do not detract from its first class appearance. A Clear can be purchased all heart (including only pieces with heartwood) or FOHC (no pieces have heart center). B Clear permits slightly larger and more numerous characteristics than A grade but occasional pieces may require trimming to yield high grade pieces in shorter lengths

This grade (for rough lumber) should be specified when the absolute finest rough lumber is required. It is the standard for many global markets. The wood is essentially completely clear and it’s natural characteristics do not detract from its fine appearance.

We are able to supply Western Red Cedar dimension and board lumber in all mid through to lower grades ranging from Shop grades and Standard & Better through to Utility grades
